As the weather is warming up finally grill season is here in full force. These hoisin and honey glazed pork chops are a great addition for this summer. The pork chops are marinaded in a sweet and savory then brushed with the marinade as it glazes to the pork chops making a great flavorful dish. From start to finish these pork chops take under 30 minutes and can easily be done in the oven also as described in the post below.
In a bowl, whisk together everything besides the pork chops.
Place the pork chops in a shallow dish and pour the sauce on top and coat both sides and season with salt and pepper. Let the pork chops marinade for 15 minutes as the grill heats up.
On a medium-high grill place the pork chops and cook each side for 5-10 minutes spooning the extra sauce on top as the chops cook. Cook until cooked through and the outside has a caramelized crust.
The pork chops can be done in the oven also. Roast the pork chops in a shallow baking dish for 15-20 minutes. Place the pork chops under the broiler for an additional 2-3 minutes until caramelized. Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes and serve hot with any pan juices. |
