Bananas and peanut butter is a classic combination. In this Banana Peanut butter bread, the standard banana bread is brought to the next level, especially if you are a peanut butter lover. (I have two of them in my house) The bread comes out super moist and tender, exactly what you are looking for in a loaf of banana bread. Plus the peanut butter adds a sweet and salty flavor that elevates the already great banana flavor. It is a great change up to the classic banana bread to make it unique but also delicious change that your family will love.
In a medium size bowl, whisk together flour, salt, baking soda. Set aside. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and both sugars until light color. Add the eggs and beat well until fluffy.
In a bowl, mash bananas with a fork until only small chunks are left. Stir in the peanut butter until incorporated.
Add the banana mixture into the butter mixture and beat until well combined. Add the flour in small portions until just combined.
Pour batter into a greased 9” x 5” loaf pan and bake for 45-60 minutes ror until a knife comes out clean when inserted in the top.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 5 minutes before removing from pan Let the banana bread cool on a wire rack until cooled.
