All of my life I have had this fascination with the steak sandwich. There was a time in my life if i saw one on a menu of a restaurant I would order it, well that still is true!! I love the taste of the steak that a simple burger doesn't offer and with the addition of the great taste of grilled onions and peppers on this one it is just amazing favor in your mouth. Preheat and oil your grill. In a bowl, add the garlic, worcestershire sauce, soy sauce and vegetable oil. mix until combined. Add the steak and let marinate for 10-15 mins, you can marinate longer if you desire. Cut the pepper into sections and the onions into 1/4-1/2in rings, keeping the rings together. Oil both sides of the peppers and onions. Once your grill is hot on high, add the steak and vegetables until the vegetables are tender and the steak has reached 130-140 degrees internal. Let the steak rest for 10mins. Preheat the broiler on your oven, mix the ingredients for the Aioli in a small bowl. Spread over each of the hoagie rolls. Slice the steak across the grain in 1/2" slices. Add to the hoagie roll equally and top with 3 slices of cheese. Place under the broiler until the cheese is bubbly and bun begins to brown. Looking for a quick and easy breakfast or midday snack that will keep you going. I know myself busy with a little toddler running around I need something quick and easy to get my day started and keep me going through the day. These oatmeal cherry cookies are a much better tasting then the prepackaged protein bars you find at your local store. These are soft and chewy, plus they have no added sugar and are gluten free so it can keep you feeling good and guilt free. Check out the recipe below. These cookies have only few ingredients that are shown above. If you are not into big into the protein shakes, I found that stores like target (where i got it) carries single serve packets that will give you enough protein powder for 2x this recipe. The first thing you want to is preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Start mashing the bananas in the bowl until smooth. I find that a fork works great, but you can use a potato masher. Once you got the bananas ready, you want to add the melted coconut oil and mix until smooth. Add all of the remaining ingredients , start folding it into the banana/oil mixture. Mix together until you get a firm ball that is all combined. Divide the mixture into 12 equal balls, it should be about a golf/ping pong ball size. Press the ball down with your palm until the cookies are about 2" diameter wide. Bake for around 20 minutes until the edges start to get lightly brown. Let cool on the sheet pan for a few minutes before transferring them over to a cooling rack and let cool completely. Cookies will keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months. Since the summer us upon us and barbecue season gets kicked into full speed these BBQ Dr Pepper Pineapple wings come in with a simple and easy recipe that will satisfy everyone at your your backyard barbecue. These wings big a great mixture of sweet, tart, and spice with the pepper. The marinate cooked down turns into a great sticky and sweet glaze that coats the chicken and your fingers in goodness. These also make great tailgating snack for the fall football season The first thing you need to do is pop open a can of Dr. Pepper and start making the marinate for the chicken. you can use other caramel colored soda in replacement if you choose to. Add the Brown Sugar, Pineapple Juice, Garlic, Soy Sauce, Onion Powder and Red Pepper Flakes. Mix until sugar is well mixed into the liquid. Once you got the marinate ready, rinse the chicken and add it to the marinate. Make sure all of the chicken is covered. Cover and let the chicken marinate for about two hours, but you can let them marinate overnight. I like to uncover and mix everything about half way through so everything is equally covered and recover. Once you get to the two hour, Heat the Grill to Medium-high or oven to 400 degrees. Cook the chicken until fully cooked (165 degrees) flipping them over half way through. Sound be about 10-15mins on the grill and 30 mins in an oven. Once the chicken is on the grill, In a sauce pan, add the leftover marinate and heat over medium high and reduce down to 1/3-1/2 liquid is left. You want a consistence of cough syrup and corn syrup. Once the sauce is finish, toss the chicken in a bowl with the sauce and serve. One of my favorite breakfast items is homemade cinnamon roll, but sometimes you don't have the time to proof the dough and so on for the time consuming task of making them. This cinnamon pecan pound cake has the taste of a fresh cinnamon roll within half the time.It is also has light and airy texture like pound cake is known for. Start off by preheating the oven to 325 degrees. Spray the baking pan with non stick spray. The first thing you need to do is let 3 sticks of butter come to room temperature . Add the butter to the bowl of a mixer with a whisk attachment. beat the butter for a minute at high speed. Slowly start adding the sugar slowly stopping to scrap sides when you are about half way through. Cream the butter and sugar for about 5 minutes until the mixture is a light yellow and fluffy appearance. Start adding the eggs one at a time, combining well before adding the next. Scrap the sides and bottom as needed. Sift the four, Baking Soda and Salt together. making sure the mixture is fine with not clumps. With the mixer on low setting, start adding the flour mixture to the wet mixture adding in 2-3 batches. Scrap the sides and mix until just combined. Add the Apple Sauce, Vanilla Extract and Oil. Mix until combined, be careful not to over mix!! Add the ingredients for the cinnamon swirl in a small bowl. mix until well combined. Pour a of the mixture in the prepared baking pan, drizzle 1/2 of the cinnamon mixture ontop of the batter. Using a skewer, swirl the mixture into the batter. Repeat until all of the batter and cinnamon mixture is used. Bake for 1 hour and half until a knife or skewer comes out clean. Let the rest for 10-15mins before flipping it out of the pan. Drizzle the frosting over the cake once cooled for awhile. Enjoy!!!
