This amazing cinnamon pecan crusted salmon is a quick and healthy dinner recipe that takes only about 20-30 minutes to make and comes out seriously flavorful. The recipe has only a handful of ingredients and is seriously delicious! The pecan crust not only gives a great crunch but it also keeps the salmon moist and tender. The salmon goes wonderful with a simple salad, rice, pasta, potatoes or any other vegetables.
In a bowl, combine the chopped pecans, cinnamon, paprika, and salt. In a separate small mixing bowl, combine the honey and mustard together.
Pat dry the salmon and spread the mustard mixture evenly over the flesh of the salmon. This will give you a nice "glue like" layer to bind with the pecans. Spread the pecan mixture over the top of the salmon evenly. Make sure to crust all sides of the fish (except the skin) to get the full flavor of the crust.
Place the filet, skin side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake it in the center of the preheated oven for 15 - 20 minutes depending on the thickness, until the fish flakes easily.
