Creamy Chicken Pasta Salad

Now that the  weather is finally getting warm, it is officially time to barbecue and have friends and family over for cookouts. For most people, you can’t have a barbecue party or a backyard party without some delicious pasta salad. This creamy chicken pasta salad is simple to prepare with just a few ingredients.The salad is packed with chicken, bacon, cheese and herbs and vegetables for color. Then all tossed in a great easy creamy homemade dressing.

In a bowl, combine all of the dressing ingredients until smooth.

Cook the pasta according to box instructions. Drain the cooked pasta and cool under cold water until cooled. In a large mixing bowl, combine pasta , chicken, vegetables, and ½ the herbs and bacon.

Pour dressing into the bowl with the pasta and mix everything together until dressing is evenly incorporated throughout. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Sprinkle with the remaining bacon and herbs prior to serving.
