As the weather is starting to get warmer, you want to spend less time cooking in the kitchen and spending it outdoors after being locked up, especially after this winter. In this simple crock pot creamy herb chicken, the preparation takes about 10-15 minutes total for the whole dinner. The chicken is infused with the wine and cheese flavor, then shredded with the cream and basil at the end when tossed with the noodles.
In a crock pot, combine the boursin cheese, chicken stock, wine and shallot. Mix until smooth. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and add the chicken and cook for 4 hours on high.
After 4 hours, break the chicken up and stir in the cream and half of the basil. Add the egg noodles and stir coating the noodles with the sauce and chicken. Season with any additional Salt and pepper. Once everything is hot, serve with the additional basil and grated parmesan cheese.
