If you are looking for a simple dump and cook crockpot dinner here you go. In this crockpot garlic honey chicken, it is just that easy. All you need to do is add all of the simple ingredients into the crockpot and a few hours later you have an amazing smelling house and dinner ready. The best part is there is no more than 10 minutes of preparation the whole time.. The chicken comes out tender and the sauce is sweet and delicious that your family will love.
In a crockpot, add the garlic, ginger, hoisin sauce, honey, soy sauce red pepper flake, rice wine vinegar and sesame oil. Stir to combine. Add the chicken and cook on high for 3-4 hours.
Once the chicken has cooked, remove from the crockpot and pull apart with two forks into bite size chunks.
Pour out the sauce into a clean saucepan and bring to a slight boil over medium heat. Pour the cornstarch mixture into the saucepan and let thicken.
Pour the sauce back into the crockpot. Add the chicken and stir until the chicken is fully covered with the sauce. Top with the sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve over cooked rice.
