These ginger honey chicken wings are packed with an amazing sweet, spicy and asian flavors that is a serious crowd pleaser. The chicken being tossed in flour and sprayed with oil, it gives the chicken a great browned and crisp exterior that grabs the sticky sauce. The chicken wings come out super tender on the inside All straight out the the oven, no fryer needed.
Preheat your oven to 475°F degrees. Line a sheet pan with foil and spray with vegetable oil spray. In a bowl, combine the flour, salt, pepper and paprika. Pat the chicken wings dry and toss in the flour mixture. Shake off the excess flour and spread the chicken in a single layer on the prepared sheet pan. Spray the top of the chicken wings with more vegetable oil spray. Bake the chicken for 30-35 minutes or until fully cooked and browned. Flip the chicken half way.
While the chicken is baking, combine the ginger green onions, five spice powder, hot sauce, honey, soy sauce and butter in a food processor. Puree the mixture until smooth, about 30 seconds.
Once the chicken is cooked, place in a clean bowl along with the sauce. Toss to fully coat and serve the chicken wings hot.
