Since it is that time of year when everyone grabs snacks and sits in front of watch football every Sunday. I thought it might be nice to share with you these Hawaiian chicken wings. The Hawaiian chicken wings have a great sweetness with a bit of spice from the sriracha sauce in the marinade. The preparation is simple and cook in 20-25 minutes in the oven so you wont miss a play making these wings. Check out the recipe below in the post .
In a bowl mix together the soy sauce, pineapple juice, molasses, sriracha, garlic, ginger and sesame oil.
In a clean gallon size bag, add the chicken and pour over the marinate. Press the bag tightly around the chicken to remove all excesses air. Let the chicken marinate for about 2 hours or overnight.
Line a sheet pan with foil and place the marinated chicken on top. Place in the hot oven and cook for 20-25 minutes or until reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees. About ever 5-10 minutes, brush the left over marinade onto of the chicken wings.
Let chicken cool for about 5 minutes and serve with chopped cilantro sprinkled on top.
