Honey Garlic pork is a simple and quick dinner that can be finished within 30 minutes. The pork chops are pounded thin, marinated and then fried quickly. The pork comes out with a crunchy crust and is super moist and tender inside. Then the fried pork chops pieces are coated in a thickened sauce that coats and add another layer of flavor. It is a dish your whole family will love!!
Pound the pork chops with a tenderizer until about ¼” thick. Cut the pounded pork into 1-2” pieces and transfer to a medium-sized bowl. Add all the marinade ingredients except the cornstarch and flour into the bowl with pork chops. Mix and let the pork marinate for 15 to 20 minutes.
Combine the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and stir to mix well.
Mix in the flour and cornstarch into the bowl with marinated pork chop until all of the pork is covered evenly.
Over medium-high heat, heat the oil in a heavy bottomed skillet. Add the pork to the preheated oil. Fry until both sides are golden brown, 1 to 2 minutes per side. Remove the cooked pork from the pan.
Drain all but 1 tablespoon of oil and place the pan over medium heat. Add the sauce to the pan and let reduce until a syrupy consistency. Add the cooked pork back to the reduced sauce. Stir a few times until it is well coated. Serve immediately
