In this quick and easy Beef and Broccoli Lo Mein, the flavor melts in your mouth with sliced tender beef with broccoli, carrots, and noodles. The sauce is simple and adds such a great flavor that finishes off this easy meal! All of the ingredients are staple ingredients that are in a bunch of different dishes and are available in almost every grocery store making it even easier for dinner on any night.
In a small bowl whisk together the brown sugar soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil and red pepper.
In a large pot with boiling water, cook the noodles according to package directions. Add the broccoli for the last 5 minutes of cooking and let them cook until tender. Drain the noodles and broccoli, set aside.
While the pasta and broccoli is cooking, add olive oil to a large skillet. Cook the steak until it is almost cooked through, about 3-5 minutes. Add the garlic, ginger and carrots and cook for a minute more.
