Tomato bruschetta is one of the most well known appetizer that is made with simple, wholesome ingredients. It is packed with bold flavors from the garlic and basil and balanced it out with the fresh tomatoes. Check out the recipe below.
Start off buy slicing the French bread on a biases, drizzle olive oil on top and bake in a 450F oven for 5-10 minutes or until golden brown around the edges. Let cool
Dice the tomatoes and mince the garlic. In a bowl add the Garlic, Olive Oil and balsamic vinegar and whisk together, add the chiffonade basil. Add the mixture to the tomatoes and mix together. Let sit for about 15-20 minutes.
Top the bread with the tomato mixture and garnish with the cheese and serve right away.
